Layton entered the Mesquite, Nevada market with a design-build project for the city -- a new city hall and fire station.

The structure is wood frame with an exterior surface of stucco, emphasizing the southwestern landscape features surrounding the area. The facility houses all of the city offices along with a large council chamber.
Layton also remodeled and built the addition to the 4,200 ft2 fire station which consists of 5 bays and houses the city’s emergency vehicles.

Layton finished the entire project two months ahead of schedule.
