The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) is the region's primary resource for culture and visual arts. It is located in the Marcia and John Price Museum Building in Salt Lake City, Utah, on the University of Utah campus near Rice–Eccles Stadium. Works of art are displayed on a rotating basis. It is a university and state art museum.
The building is a cluster of five distinct rectangles and contains more than 20 galleries occupying 26,000 square feet, a cafe, museum store, five-story great hall, research center, auditorium and sculpture garden.
The museum features high-end finishes, with mahogany and granite flooring and Brazilian cherry wood on the walls to complement the beauty of the artwork displayed.
This building is also the recipient of the AGC Best of Award and the Honor Award from The Boston Society of Architects.
