When St Luke’s old, built-up cooling towers failed, IASIS Healthcare installed temporary truck-mounted cooling towers. IASIS Healthcare urgently contracted with Layton to remove the temporary and failed units and install new towers.

The project included the demolition of two existing cooling towers, replacing them with two 1,000-ton cooling towers. In addition, one existing chiller was removed and replaced with one new 1,000-ton chiller. Layton completed the project with all new headers for condenser and chilled water systems with complete DDC controls in 90 days.
