Layton initially completed portions of the Nampa Gateway Lifestyle Center—an open-air shopping center in Nampa, a suburb of Boise. Layton was then hired to construct the Sports Authority store at Nampa Gateway for the same client.

The project includes the core and shell for the one level sporting goods retail store. Items of note include:

• Design Build project
• MEP management
• During preconstruction, provided cost estimates for alternate designs and materials as well as tracked value engineering
• Procurement & delivery tracking for the owner’s national account vendor
• Radiused parapet wall
• Steel “goal post” assembly entrance
• Masonry bearing structure
• 18’ vertical height from finish floor to lowest side of roof
