The Salt Lake Regional Medical Center project included 16,000 ft2 remodels of surgical services, with the construction of eight new operating rooms: four integrated rooms, a new PACU, a remodeled same-day surgery and a new Brachy therapy suite.

The project also included remodeling 15,000 ft2 for a new MRI, PET/CT and a new breast care center in radiology. Layton performed cosmetic improvements to 12,000 ft2 of the Moreau Building office spaces in preparation for the demolition of the existing hospital’s east wing for a new medical office building.

In addition, 27,000 ft2 of patient rooms on the 2nd, 4th and 5th floors underwent major renovations, which included new bathrooms, showers and headwalls.
