Because of the tremendous growth in pediatric surgeries and treatments, Primary Children’s Medical Center required an operating room expansion, which included four new operating rooms and support facilities.

With regular hospital operations on-going on all sides of the project, Layton took the utmost care in all construction activities. Infectious control and moving site utilities out of the dig zone were just two concerns of the medical center. With careful planning, Layton successfully expanded the facility, creating a more functional facility for patient care.
