E-Systems, an aerospace manufacturer, expanded their existing building by 90,000 ft2 for manufacturing and 10,000 ft2 for office space. Layton’s process allowed E-System employees to continue working during construction and move into the new facility ahead of schedule.

The project area needed to be excavated for hazardous materials and dewatered continuously without breaching the storm water system.

Layton remodeled the existing facility, moving E-System’s employees out of areas temporarily and relocating them within weeks to a newly remodeled area. After constructing the building, Layton continued to place equipment pads, revamp entire rooms and relocate E-System’s teams.
