Layton worked closely with Delta Airlines to expand their Corporate Reservation Headquarters, which features a computer data center with numerous phone and fiber optic lines. Layton also constructed the interior office and cubicle space.
Delta’s main concern was sound-proofing the building since it is located at the Salt Lake International Airport. To solve this problem, Layton constructed the entire facility as a building within a building. Between the interior and exterior walls of the building is a three ft. pocket of air, which insulates the reservation center from adjacent airport activities |
