Best Buy is North America's number-one specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment software and appliances. They contracted with Layton Construction to build a new store located at the Airport Center, the fifth phase of Jordan Landing in West Jordan, Utah.

The new store incorporates Best Buy’s customer-centric operating model into the design. It includes single-line checkout and wider aisles for better traffic flow. It also features demonstration areas to sample the latest media, home theater equipment and car audio.

Best Buy was Layton’s first project in a long list of work at Jordan Landing—a large mixed-use development in the growing suburb of the western Salt Lake Valley.
