IIDA's Southwest Chapter of more than 350 members hosts the annual Professional Recipient for Interior Design Excellence (PRIDE) Awards event to recognize the region's top performers in a variety of categories. Layton Construction was recognized as General Contractor of the Year, the second time the company has received the honor, having also received the award in 2006.
The Southwest Chapter of the IIDA includes Arizona, Las Vegas and New Mexico and strives to strengthen interior design in existing city centers in Phoenix and Las Vegas and develop a new city center of interior design excellence in Albuquerque.
Andrew Geier, Layton Construction executive vice president, said, "We are honored to be recognized with this prestigious PRIDE award. On every project, we focus on exceeding the expectations of all team members. To be singled out as the best contractor by interior designers confirms that we are meeting the expectations of the design team members. We look forward to our continued involvement with the IIDA."
